This was sort of a test run for future trips we have coming up...James did very well. He slept the whole way there and most of the way home. We learned how to change a diaper in our tiny car (yes, we need a new one, but it will be awhile before we can afford one since we will only pay cash for it). We also learned that for such a tiny person, James needs A LOT of stuff to go anywhere. Like, a ridiculous amount of stuff. Which means we will be limited to car trips for awhile. But at least now we know we can leave the house for a few hours and survive! Yay!

Welcome to traveling with children! Btw, it doesn't get any better for a while..as in, until they're able to sleep in beds/on the floor in a sleeping bag, and are done with diapers. Fun, isn't it?! But so worth it!
