James is 6 weeks old!

Well, he was 6 weeks old yesterday, but I've been sick and just didn't get around to it. But we did go out with our visitor Ali (who's been a HUGE help around the house... thanks Ali!) to the hippie Saturday Market here in Eugene, and then dined on Voodoo Donuts. We also went up to Skinner Butte to see the view. Here are some pics from our adventure:

James Second Month

Things are going well here except I got Eliot's cold and am feeling a bit under the weather. The garden is giving us blackberries, tomatoes, and squash, and James is happy and healthy! I had my 6-week check up on Friday and everything is healing well. Oh, and James's rash from my oversupply issue is almost totally gone (it was caused by too much lactose in his system from him digesting milk too quickly).

Tonight we are having Jodi over for burgers and game night.. should be fun! My mind, though is on our trip to Mt Rainier in a few weeks (and Eliot going to Scotland for a gig the week before that). I'm already trying to figure out how to get all that baby gear into our tiny Kia...
