Mural musings

So I know we want to do a tree mural at least in one corner of the room complete with shelves... but I am thinking about what we want to do in the rest of the room. I am thinking about doing something like this around the door:



I have to admit I am freaking out and procrastinating painting/drawing the tree. I feel like it is so hard and it will look terrible if I draw it freehand on the wall, let alone paint it. I feel stuck, I can't even face picking out paint colors for it! I know I can trace it on a transparency and project it on the wall, but the picture of the tree I have is at an angle and I'm not even sure I could trace it well.

I need an artist!
